This proven clinic will help children learn the beginning skills, technique, and etiquette of soccer.  Starting with soft Rhino Skin balls, slowly moving up to size 3 soccer balls, children actively engage in learning everything from passing and kicking, to heading and dribbling skills.  Each class structure is the same; beginning with a short discussion of the game of soccer, stretching and calisthenics, skill lesson, followed by soccer activities and a soccer game.  You will be amazed and your children will feel empowered as they improve throughout the session! Parents are highly encouraged to participate with their child in this program Proper clothing and sneakers are required.Session I is held outdoors, and will be moved indoors to the Pfaff Center in case of inclement weather.

MEDFIELD GIRLS YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY We are super excited to announce our participation in the Metrowest Girls Field Hockey League this fall. Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more! As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park. We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 20 players on each team.REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, July 25! We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team!The fee will include everything EXCEPT a uniform. We will have a fitting for uniforms on Thursday, July 26 at 6:15PM. We are working on a cost for the uniforms, but do not expect it to exceed $60. NEW FOR FALL 2018! Lets get creative with electricity!  In this junior version of "Hands-On Electronics" (Grades 3-6), students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments!  Weekly sessions consist of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronic project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors.   Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day.  Most class days will include a take-home project.

The Boston Celtics come to Medfield!Join Boston Celtics dancer Aly Pereira as she teaches the latest dance moves to the most popular music out right now!  Students will learn various dances to popular songs as the class incorporates choreography and different forms of freestyle movement.  At the end of the 8-week session, the children will have a short performance to show off their hard work!

A fast, fun and effective way to get your heart pumping! This step aerobics class offers 30 minutes of cardio exercise followed by 30 minutes of a complete toning workout. Hand weights are used for an upper body strengthening section, and steps are adjustable so the workout is personalized to your fitness level. This can be hi or LOW impact - YOU choose (walk, run or jump).

Looking to extend your child’s Kindergarten experience? This is our SIXTH YEAR running this successful enrichment program for kids enrolled in the morning half day OR afternoon half day Kindergarten program!Join former elementary school teacher Maureen Dodge and Medfield Parks & Rec for an extended Kindergarten experience every week. When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! 9:15 AM - 10:15 AM    Body Sculpt - Body Sculpting (Fri)
Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

Join Instructor and former integrated PK Teacher at Memorial school, Jenifer Harrison, for this new, engaging, and informative learn and play experience for your young kids ages 2-3! Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

NEW FOR FALL 2018! Is your child too young for the PK Soccer league, but  ready to start organized soccer activities?  Medfield Parks and Recreation has you covered with our new MICRO SOCCER LEAGUE for kids ages 3-4 (Birthday before 8/31/2015)! The Micro Soccer League will be held on Saturday mornings from 8:00-8:40 at McCarthy Fields.  This basic instructional league will be led by volunteer coaches and is designed as an introduction to organized soccer activities, drills, and general game-play.  Participants will have ~15-20 minutes of instruction, followed by ~20 minutes of game-play. Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

This is our SIXTH YEAR running this successful enrichment program for kids enrolled in the morning half day OR afternoon half day Kindergarten program!Join former elementary school teacher Maureen Dodge and Medfield Parks & Rec for an extended Kindergarten experience every week. When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! This proven clinic will help children learn the beginning skills, technique, and etiquette of soccer.  Starting with soft Rhino Skin balls, slowly moving up to size 3 soccer balls, children actively engage in learning everything from passing and kicking, to heading and dribbling skills.  Each class structure is the same; beginning with a short discussion of the game of soccer, stretching and calisthenics, skill lesson, followed by soccer activities and a soccer game.  You will be amazed and your children will feel empowered as they improve throughout the session! Lets get creative with electricity!  In this junior version of "Hands-On Electronics" (Grades 3-6), students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments!  Weekly sessions consist of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronic project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors.   Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day.  Most class days will include a take-home project.

Join Instructor and former integrated PK Teacher at Memorial school, Jenifer Harrison, for this new, engaging, and informative learn and play experience for your young kids ages 2-3! Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

Our teams will host games at Metacomet Park and play road games against teams from Attleboro, Walpole, Franklin, Foxboro, Norwood and more! As part of the league, we will host one weekly practice in addition to the game on Saturday. Weekly practices will take place at McCarthy Park. We will need at least 14 players on each team to be able to enter the league, and will be able to have a maximum of 20 players on each team.REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, July 25! We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team!The fee will include everything EXCEPT a uniform. We will have a fitting for uniforms on Thursday, July 26 at 6:15PM. We are working on a cost for the uniforms, but do not expect it to exceed $60. Looking to extend your child’s Kindergarten experience? This is our SIXTH YEAR running this successful enrichment program for kids enrolled in the morning half day OR afternoon half day Kindergarten program!Join former elementary school teacher Maureen Dodge and Medfield Parks & Rec for an extended Kindergarten experience every week. When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! This proven clinic will help children learn the beginning skills, technique, and etiquette of soccer.  Starting with soft Rhino Skin balls, slowly moving up to size 3 soccer balls, children actively engage in learning everything from passing and kicking, to heading and dribbling skills.  Each class structure is the same; beginning with a short discussion of the game of soccer, stretching and calisthenics, skill lesson, followed by soccer activities and a soccer game.  You will be amazed and your children will feel empowered as they improve throughout the session! Parents are highly encouraged to participate with their child in this program Proper clothing and sneakers are required.Session I is held outdoors, and will be moved indoors to the Pfaff Center in case of inclement weather.

Lets get creative with electricity!  In this junior version of "Hands-On Electronics" (Grades 3-6), students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments!  Weekly sessions consist of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronic project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors.   Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day.  Most class days will include a take-home project.

Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

Join Instructor and former integrated PK Teacher at Memorial school, Jenifer Harrison, for this new, engaging, and informative learn and play experience for your young kids ages 2-3! Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

NEW FOR FALL 2018! Is your child too young for the PK Soccer league, but  ready to start organized soccer activities?  Medfield Parks and Recreation has you covered with our new MICRO SOCCER LEAGUE for kids ages 3-4 (Birthday before 8/31/2015)! The Micro Soccer League will be held on Saturday mornings from 8:00-8:40 at McCarthy Fields.  This basic instructional league will be led by volunteer coaches and is designed as an introduction to organized soccer activities, drills, and general game-play.  Participants will have ~15-20 minutes of instruction, followed by ~20 minutes of game-play. We need to be able to inform the league if we will have a team!The fee will include everything EXCEPT a uniform. We will have a fitting for uniforms on Thursday, July 26 at 6:15PM. Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

Join Instructor and former integrated PK Teacher at Memorial school, Jenifer Harrison, for this new, engaging, and informative learn and play experience for your young kids ages 2-3! Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

Looking to extend your child’s Kindergarten experience? This is our SIXTH YEAR running this successful enrichment program for kids enrolled in the morning half day OR afternoon half day Kindergarten program!Join former elementary school teacher Maureen Dodge and Medfield Parks & Rec for an extended Kindergarten experience every week. When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! This proven clinic will help children learn the beginning skills, technique, and etiquette of soccer.  Starting with soft Rhino Skin balls, slowly moving up to size 3 soccer balls, children actively engage in learning everything from passing and kicking, to heading and dribbling skills.  Each class structure is the same; beginning with a short discussion of the game of soccer, stretching and calisthenics, skill lesson, followed by soccer activities and a soccer game.  You will be amazed and your children will feel empowered as they improve throughout the session! Parents are highly encouraged to participate with their child in this program Proper clothing and sneakers are required.Session I is held outdoors, and will be moved indoors to the Pfaff Center in case of inclement weather.

Lets get creative with electricity!  In this junior version of "Hands-On Electronics" (Grades 3-6), students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments!  Weekly sessions consist of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronic project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors.   Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day.  Most class days will include a take-home project.

When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

Is your child too young for the PK Soccer league, but  ready to start organized soccer activities?  Medfield Parks and Recreation has you covered with our new MICRO SOCCER LEAGUE for kids ages 3-4 (Birthday before 8/31/2015)! The Micro Soccer League will be held on Saturday mornings from 8:00-8:40 at McCarthy Fields.  This basic instructional league will be led by volunteer coaches and is designed as an introduction to organized soccer activities, drills, and general game-play.  Participants will have ~15-20 minutes of instruction, followed by ~20 minutes of game-play. Body Sculpt is a combination of ballet-inspired exercises, isometrics, strength-training, and stretching.  This approach to exercise is not at all strenuous, but is incredibly effective at transforming the body - especially for women.  Participants will see and feel improvement in posture, thinner thighs, chiseled arms, a sculpted back, flatter abs, and a lifted "seat".Exercises can always be modified whether you're a beginner, pregnant, or have an injury, but can also be amplified if you're advanced or looking for more of a challenge.  Classes are led by instructor Jennifer Jaques who is a dancer, trained at the Boston Conservatory, and has been teaching at Universities and studios in Boston and the Metro West area for over 30 years!Classes are offered twice a week, You can take either class, or both!

Join Instructor and former integrated PK Teacher at Memorial school, Jenifer Harrison, for this new, engaging, and informative learn and play experience for your young kids ages 2-3! Parents/caregivers will stay for the first 15 minutes of class as they participate in a collective sharing time while the children become acquainted and get settled in.  During this time, topics surrounding developmental stages and guiding positive behavior will be addressed.  Parents/caregivers are then welcome to leave for the remaining hour as the children learn through play - focusing on sharing, socialization, and being part of a group.  There will also be a movement, and a story/song component to each class!**If your child is not potty trained, a parent/caregiver must remain in the building for the duration of the class**

When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. NEW THIS YEAR: If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Tuesday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. Once a week, your child will get the experience of a full day Kindergarten program!This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! Class is open to non-residents! This proven clinic will help children learn the beginning skills, technique, and etiquette of soccer.  Starting with soft Rhino Skin balls, slowly moving up to size 3 soccer balls, children actively engage in learning everything from passing and kicking, to heading and dribbling skills.  Each class structure is the same; beginning with a short discussion of the game of soccer, stretching and calisthenics, skill lesson, followed by soccer activities and a soccer game.  You will be amazed and your children will feel empowered as they improve throughout the session! Lets get creative with electricity!  In this junior version of "Hands-On Electronics" (Grades 3-6), students will gain experience with creating their own electronics; designing custom light-up greeting cards, electric games, mazes, and even musical instruments!  Weekly sessions consist of a circuitry lesson and a hands-on electronic project, using components like lights, buzzers, switches, motors, and sensors.   Circuit Lab staff will make sure participants create a project that they can be proud of each day.  Most class days will include a take-home project.
