What could be better than spending the afternoon at New England’s largest tubing park? Well, nothing! Join Medfield Parks and Recreation as we experience the newest winter recreational activity when we head to Nashoba Valley in Westford, MA for an afternoon filled of snow tubing. The trip will include three hours on the tubing trail and bus transportation to and from Nashoba Valley. What better way to spend a day off from school?
Date: Friday, Feb. 7, 2014
Time: 11:45am to 6:00pm
Who: Students from Dale St. School and Blake Middle School
Drop Off: Everyone will be driven up, by bus, from the Pfaff Center. A parent must sign the waiver for each child.
Pick Up: The buses will return to the Pfaff Center by 6:00pm. Students must be signed out and picked up at the Pfaff Center.
Cost: $65 per child, includes bus transportation and three hours on the tube trails Minimum required: In order to take this trip, we need at least 40 signed up by the deadline Registration deadline: Feb. 4, 2014.
Waiver: A parent must sign the Nashoba Valley Waiver for each child before they may go on the trip. You may use the form below or sign it when you drop off your child at the Pfaff Center.
Other information: There is a snack stand at the tube trails where refreshments will be served, so please send money with your child if you want them to get a snack or drink. Proper attire for this trip is warm winter clothes, gloves and winter hat, and snow pants are recommended. For full information on Nashoba Valley, visit www.skinashoba.com.
Chaperones are needed for this trip! If you can volunteer your time, please let us know! We’d like to have at least one adult for every fifteen children that make the trip. Volunteer chaperones are essential for outings like this!
