General Information
The Magic of Books
Have your son of daughter jump into the magic of books. Every week, the children will be introduced to a new story through which they will explore that book's theme via a variety of fun activities.
Winter/Spring Information
Spanish Club
Hola Mami y Papi I spoke Spanish today! Imagine the excitement that being able to say those words will bring to your child’s day. We will travel to Spain each week soaking up the culture, the vocabulary, the stories, the songs, and the traditions found there. A siesta will most definitely be needed after having so much fun.
Beach Party Club
Who doesn’t want to escape to the beach for fun in the winter? Nothing beats pretend play at the beach when it’s cold outside! We’ll learn about the ocean and marine life, play some games, participate in crafts and activities and “travel” to different beaches. So grab those sunglasses and join us for fun in the sun.
Cupcake Fun Club
Not only are cupcakes fun to eat, they are also wonderful to make, especially if your child can make whimsical ones all by themselves. In club, the children will create a different cupcake each week; that they will then take home to dazzle family and friends. We will also be making cupcakes from paper, clay, and material to work on math, vocabulary, and motor skills.
Safari Club
Are there lions and tigers at the Pfaff Center? There will be when we head out on our exploration of Africa and all of the animals to be found on a great safari. Our imaginations will take us anywhere and everywhere! Each week we’ll learn about different animals through games, crafts, puzzles, stories and more. Don’t be afraid when they bring home an “animal” or two!
Spy Club
Does your child want to become the next Nancy Drew or Sherlock Holms? Then sign them up for Spy Club. Every week there will be thrilling new spy skills taught that will release your child’s imagination, as they learn the science, math, and language involved in becoming the world’s greatest spy. Be prepared to have your fingerprints taken.
Puppet Club
Pretend play is one of the most important ways young children learn. Puppet Club encourages imaginative play, problem solving, vocabulary, fine motor skills and so much more. Each week your child will work on creating different puppets and their stories. We’ll have games, activities, books, songs and crafts.
