Looking to extend your child’s Kindergarten experience? This is our EIGHTH YEAR running this successful enrichment program for kids enrolled in the morning half day or afternoon half day Kindergarten program!

Join former elementary school teacher Maureen Dodge and Medfield Parks & Rec for an extended Kindergarten experience every week. When the school bell rings at Memorial, the day is not over! Your child will come to the Pfaff Center for an extended Kindergarten day filled with play and learning. 

If your child takes part in the AFTERNOON KINDERGARTEN at Memorial, we've got you covered! You will drop your child off at the Pfaff Center on Monday mornings, and we will transport them to Memorial after our program is over for drop off. 

AM KINDERGARTEN KIDS: Enrichment class will be on TUESDAY afternoons and we will transport the kids from Memorial to the Pfaff.

PM KINDERGARTEN KIDS: Enrichment class will be on THURSDAY mornings and we will transport kids to Memorial for afternoon kindergarten

PRE-KINDERGARTEN KIDS: Enrichment class will be on TUESDAY afternoons and we will team up with the Kindergarten kids for fun activities. Pre-K kids will be dropped off at the Pfaff Center at 11am and join us to pickup the Kindergarten kids!

This will be an extension of the Kindergarten experience at Memorial. Activities will include everything from games to writing to numbers and more! 

Registration fee DOES NOT include a $20 materials fee, which will be paid directly to Maureen Dodge on the first day of the program.

General Information
  • Join Maureen Dodge, a Certified Elementary Education teacher, for a morning OR afternoon of fun, stimulating and educational activities ranging from phonics review to counting.
  • Please send your child with a lunch. We will eat before heading to Memorial for PM Kindergarten OR after coming over from Memorial School to the Pfaff Center.
  • Registration fee does not include a materials fee of $20. This will be paid directly to the instructor.
  • Note: Classes will be held at the Pfaff Community Center.
  • AM KINDERGARTEN: Children will be taken by Department van to the Pfaff from Memorial School by the instructors for afternoon class.
  • PM KINDERGARTEN: Children will be taken by Department van to Memorial School for drop off for afternoon Kindergarten.
